Rain has been in a couple Kdramas (examples: Sang Doo! Let’s Go to School, Full House, Runaway: Plan B, etc.) and has won awards for his appearances on the small screen. In addition to his acting career, he’s primarily known for his musical abilities, where he has put out seven albums, one of which is in Japanese. His concert tours have been sold out immediately, a testimony to his ability to sing, entertain, and excel at all he does.

Kim Joon

The main rapper for T-Max and a singer in the group as well, Kim Joon has stayed mostly in the music world but has made a name in the acting world as well with his roles in the popular drama, Boys Over Flowers, and Crime Squad.

Kim Hyun Joong

Kim Hyun Joong

Best known for his role in Boys Over Flowers as the sentimental violinist, Kim Hyun Joong is actually the main rapper and leader of the popular group, SS501. He’s won many awards for his various roles (i.e. he receives Best Actor Award at Seoul International Drama Awards in 2009) and has put out solo albums as well. He’s also a very prominent flower boy.

Probably the 2nd most successful musician on this list (behind Rain), he has released 5.5 albums, with many of his songs landing at the top of Billboard’s Korea K-Pop Hot 100. Lee Seung Gi’s acting career also has been very successful with the variety of roles (i.e. Shining Inheritance, King 2 Hearts, My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox, Gu Family Book).

Choi Si Won

A member of the very famous boy band, Super Junior, Choi Si Won has also made such a huge name for himself that he’s the first Korean celebrity to have more than 3 million followers on Twitter. He’s appeared on many Korean Dramas, with his most prominent role in Oh! My Lady.
